Ideal Match - Mozart is the type that is happy doing absolutely any job as long as he has people who love him! He is the safest mount for any level rider. He is tolerant and steady for the most timid beginners, yet talented and capable for those with show ring aspirations. Mozart is not limited in the jobs he can do either. He could shine in the dressage ring or as an eventer, or just as easily be a staff horse for a hunt (or a Hilltopper!)

Mozart is a 6 year old Friesian x Spotted Draft gelding standing 16 hands high. This is truly one of the nicest horses to ever step into our barn, a once in a lifetime type of horse. He is saintly, kicking quiet, and has the best personality you will ever find. He will go anywhere, do anything you ask, and has a fantastic dressage foundation that has him set up for success in any direction that you may decide to take him in. Out cross country, Mozart pops around b/n to novice fences with ease. He is as brave and honest as they come! We have shot guns off of his back, ridden him bridleless, taken him on hunter paces, and we trust him to safely ride around with our little ones and guests.

In the arena, Mozart will pack around any rider. His canter is phenomenal, you will not find another draft cross with a canter of this quality! He will go on the buckle, in a frame, or with no bridle at all. He knows basic lateral work and first level dressage tests. Mozart will be easy to bring up the levels as he is balanced, and soft, with quality gaits. Mozart will take a joke and does not mind a nervous or timid rider. He is a confidence builder extraordinaire, and will bop around quietly no matter who is on his back. We have started Mozart over fences in the ring and he has been brave and honest in every way, though most of his jumping experience is out in hunt country. He will pop over logs, walls, and coupes up to 3”3 with scope for more.

Out of the ring, Mozart is a trail master that loves to explore. He will cross any and all obstacles and loves water. He rides alone or with a group, and is used to loading up in the trailer and going off property to trail ride, hunter pace, and school at other arenas. Mozart is the same horse on or off property, and can be safely handed and ridden by anyone.

In the barn, Mozart is the barn favorite. We have nothing but great things to say about this lovable guy. He has a puppy dog personality, and acts more like a dog than a horse. He’s in your pocket, yet polite and respectful. He has no vices or quirks and is easy for even the smallest of children to handle. This horse is such a character. You can’t go into the pasture without him coming up to you and saying hello. You can’t clean his stall without him trying to “help” by picking up the pitchfork with his mouth. If you drive the tractor into the field, he will stick his head into the window of the machine to give you a lick. You will want to load him up in your backseat (he would hop right in if you let him) and take him home. It is literally impossible to not love this horse.

Mozart is the complete package and special in every way. No matter what discipline you wish to take him in, he will be successful. And no matter your level of riding, you will be safe with him. Mozart is an easy keeper that can live inside or out, is the same if ridden daily or once a week, and has no quirks or maintenance.
