El Paso is a 10 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.3 hands high. He is wide as he is tall, and can handle any sized rider. El Paso is the type of horse that we are constantly getting requests for. He is safe for absolutely any rider, both in the ring and on the trails. He is a great mover with the most comfortable gaits, a soft mouth, and quiet mind. El Paso has the brain that everyone wants, and is versatile enough to do almost any job. He is tolerant, up for any adventure, and a perfect gentleman both under saddle and on the ground.
In the ring, El Paso is broke well both English and western. He knows lateral work, steers off the leg, neck reins wonderfully, has a good stop, and knows how to go in a frame. Though, he is just as happy plopping around quietly on a loose rein too! He is a fun and easygoing guy that can do any job you are feeling like doing that day. El Paso will pop around a course in the ring, and jump around out on the cross country course too!
On the trails and off property, El Paso is as good as they get. He will load up and go anywhere. When he steps off the trailer he is as calm as can be, just like he’s been there his whole life. He will lead, follow, pony other horses, and ride alone. He is well versed in ranch work, and loves to be out of the ring. If you need a confidence builder out of the ring, El Paso is the one for you. He hops right into the trailer and is always ready to go with you on a new adventure. He never needs prep at new places, simply tack up and ride. We have taken El Paso all over to school and trail ride. He is the same horse in any environment.
In the barn, El Paso is a gentleman in every way. He stands patiently when tied. He is safe enough for the children to groom, bathe, and lead. He is a good boy with all the usual barn tasks, and loves any and all attention In turnout, El Paso goes out with mares and geldings and fits right into the middle of the pack. He polite, gentle, and as sweet as can be.
El Paso is the complete package. He has an amateur friendly brain, is as sensible as they come, and is tolerant and forgiving. He hasn’t put a foot wrong, no matter the task at hand, and he always tries his best. He is not spooky, is the same ride if ridden every day or once a week, and has no quirks or vices.

Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal or Venmo and are ONLY refundable if you are not satisfied with the results of your Pre-Purchase Exam. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
