Marlowe - SOLD

​Marlowe is a 7 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15 hands high. This horse is the epitome of "Dead safe and quiet." He is so safe you can easily ride him bridleless in the ring and on the trails. Without a bridle, he still rides better than half the horses in the barn. He is educated, experienced, and broke to a T. He goes English or western, and can pop around a small course or hit the trails. If you are timid, a beginner, nervous, or just flat out afraid of getting hurt, this is the horse for you. Marlowe doesn't put a foot wrong and will be reliable in any situation.

In the ring, Marlowe rides like a schoolmaster. He has perfect transitions, steering, and brakes. He goes when you tell him to go, and slows when you tell him to slow. You could ride him backwards and he would still get the job done. Ride him English and he will go in a frame, pop over small jumps, and do a first level dressage test. Ride him western and he will neck rein, spin, back, and do a trail class with ease. Show him, take lessons on him, and let the kids do all the 4h events. Marlowe will do any job and do it well, all while keeping you confident and safe.

On the trails and off property, Marlowe is quiet as ever. He is a trail master that will cross any obstacle and remain calm in any situation. He rides alone or in a group, and has ponied the little ones on their ponies over all sorts of terrain. He is used to hounds, ATV's, traffic, goats, and cattle. Marlow is a load up and go type. He is the same on or off property, and does not need any prep whatsoever.

In the barn, Marlowe is polite and gentle. The kids can climb on, around, and under him safely. He has a kind personality, and enjoys human company. He is a good boy to be groomed, clipped, bathed, and tacked. He is happy living inside or out, and is easy to get along with. He stands for the vet and farrier, and has no quirks or vices.

 

Marlowe is available to be tried at our farm in Clover, SC by appointment.

​Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. A deposit holds a horse for 5 days. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
