Morocco - For Sale

Morocco is a 5 year old Friesian x Paint Horse gelding standing 15.3 hands high. Here comes Mr. Personality! “Rocco” is, in one word, a silly goose. He is a fun, easy to ride kind of guy that just makes everyone laugh with his personality. Something that spooks all the others horses? Rocco will probably have it in his mouth flailing it around. Other horses don’t want to go into the water? Rocco is probably in there making a wave pool. Rocco has a great start in the dressage ring and has gone to some local shows and clinics. He has also been brave and honest on hunter paces, trail rides, and camping trips. No matter the direction you choose, know you will have a safe, well-rounded, fun loving partner in Morocco! 

In the ring, Morocco has the smoothest gaits around. So smooth that you’ll rather sit the trot than post. His canter is equally comfy and easy to ride. He has great transitions and a good “whoa”.  Rocco is doing basic lateral work and putting together simple dressage tests. Rocco will be easy as can be to bring up the levels in traditional or western dressage, and could easily do some working equitation too! He naturally likes to be round and correct, and is happy to stretch out and ride on a loose rein. We are putting together small courses in the ring, and have introduced Rocco to all of the jumps and obstacles on the cross country field. He is brave, honest, and forgiving. We have continually been impressed with Roccos natural jumping ability and brains. 

 

Off property and on the trails, Morocco is happy and eager to explore. We have ridden him alone and in a group, as well as on hunting and camping trips. Morocco does enjoy the company of another horse, but will ride off on his own as well. He is used to atvs, traffic, livestock, deer, and more. He enjoys splashing in the water, and will be the first to jump in given the chance! Rocco is used to loading up and going cross country schooling, on hunter paces, and on trail rides. Morocco is well behaved on the trailer, and stands tied without a problem. 

 

In the barn, Morocco thinks he’s a human. He will follow you all over the farm if you let him. He is easy to catch in the field and gets along well with his buddies. Morocco currently lives out weather dependent, but is just as happy and well behaved in his stall. Morocco stands to be groomed, bathed, clipped, and tacked. He genuinely enjoys affection from his people, and will never turn down a scratch or good currying.  

 

Take Morocco home and finish him in any way you choose! Whether you want a flashy partner for the show ring or hunt field, or a reliable trail horse. Morocco would love to have a person he can bond with and make laugh, no matter the job! 

Morocco is available to be tried at our farm in Clover, SC by appointment. Appointments to meet and try horses can be made starting anytime after the Full Video is listed on our page. Vet and ship, and sight-unseen sales are welcome at any point once the horse is listed on our site.

​Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. A deposit holds a horse for 5 days. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
