Paris is a 12 year old Quarter Horse mare standing 15.2 hands high. Paris is a schoolmaster in the ring, a sweetie on the ground, and a blast out on hunter paces. She is well rounded, educated, and experienced. This mare knows and loves her job. She is tolerant of beginners and timid riders, and can always take a joke. She's been there, done that, but not boring. She is amateur friendly, safe and quiet, yet has the flashy movement and looks to keep things exciting (even the professional will enjoy taking her for a spin!). Paris is a blast on hunter paces and paper chases, she loves to jump and get out to see new things. This mare is so much fun to ride, we look forward to getting on her every day, she so is fun and easy to get along with.
In the ring, Paris is a barn favorite. She is a beautiful mover that knows all the moves. She is broke well both English and western. She will neck rein, do lateral work, work off the leg, and listen to seat and voice cues. She is extremely comfortable and easy to ride. You set the gait and the pace and she’ll stay there until you tell her what to do next. Her trot and canter are easy to adjust, she is so rideable and pliable. Ride her round in the bridle, and do some dressage, or on the buckle like a hunter. Over fences, Paris is adjustable and scopey. She will jump a course in the ring, and is an absolute blast on the cross country field! This girl can jump!
On the trails, Paris is always up for an adventure. She has gone off property on lots of hunter paces and paper chases, as well as many hacks out around the farm after a ride. She is brave and easy to ride. She will happily lead or follow, and will cross any of the usual trail obstacles. She is used to dogs, hounds, ATVs, wildlife, and traffic.
In the barn, Paris is sweet and gentle as can be. She is not mare-ish and gets along well with all of the mares, geldings, and people in the barn. Paris stood like a statue to be body clipped, even for her ears and face! She is easy to load, tie, bathe, and catch in the pasture. She loves attention and people, and is kind to the kids climbing on and around her.

Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. A deposit holds a horse for 5 days. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
