President- For Sale

President is a 6 year old Percheron x Friesian gelding standing 17 hands high. He is stunning, gentle, talented, and educated. He can do practically any job with any level of rider. He has the brain to hunt, the movement for the dressage ring, and the personality that everyone falls in love with. He is dependable for the husband on the trails, and tolerant with beginners in the ring. Whether you want a best friend, a show horse, your next hunting parter, or all of the above, President will safely do any job for his partner.

In the ring, President is light, comfortable, and soft. You almost forget you're on a draft cross! He is happy to plop along on a loose rein, or go to work and do some more upper level movements. President is easy to ride in a frame in the bridle, he is soft as can be in just a snaffle and naturally wants to be round and correct. His gaits are smooth and adjustable. He has a lovely slow canter with great transitions, and listens well to seat and voice cues. President knows how to side pass, pivot, shoulder in, haunches in, and leg yield. He is user friendly, and can be enjoyed equally by any age or level of rider. He is safe and sane enough for a total beginner, yet educated and has the buttons for an advanced rider to enjoy.

On the trails and out of the arena, President is solid as can be. He is always up for a new adventure with his person. President rides out alone, or in a group, and is happy any place in the pack. He crosses water, is safe on the roads in traffic, and is not bothered by the usual spooky things out on the trail. He is used to dogs, hounds, ATVs, cattle, deer, and more. 

In the barn, President is a big puppy dog. He is sweet and kind, yet respectful and aware of his size. He can be handled, groomed, bathed, and brought in and out from the pasture by the children. Don't let his size worry you, he is easy to handle and always respectful of humans around him. President is happy turned out 24/7, and is a good boy who stalled. He has no vices and is an easy keeper.

President is available to be tried at our farm in Clover, SC by appointment.
 
Appointments to meet and try horses can be made starting anytime after the Full Video is listed on our page. Vet and ship, and sight-unseen sales are welcome at any point once the horse is listed on our site.

​Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. A deposit holds a horse for 5 days. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
